From Chicago, Detroit, New York, Paris, London, Johannesburg and Amsterdam to Rotterdam. Photographer Jos Kottmann (1981) traveled the world for twelve years to capture the icons from the house scene. Sometimes it took him 9 years to make an appointment with a great artist. Yet he succeeded: on Thursday, October 17, the well-known Dutch photographer presented his new book "DJ Faces" during the Amsterdam Dance Event. DJ Faces consists of an extensive collection of black and white portraits that reflects the powerful and vulnerable side of the founders of the house scene.
